Fun Ashley

After a few crazy weeks of travel to Las Vegas and Savannah, I didn’t want to make any plans this weekend because deep down I was craving some sweat, rest, and relaxation time with Bo.

I was able to sleep in yesterday since I didn’t have to be at the office until 10am! Sleeping 8 hours was the perfect way to kick off my weekend of rest and relaxation.

I checked off the sweat part of my weekend to do list next by starting my day with a hill workout on the treadmill. I’m not going to lie, hill workouts still kick my butt two times a week when I attempt them!

After spending a few months training for the marathon, I forgot how much I enjoy our friends in New York City and the time we spend with them whether it’s around someone’s kitchen table, in Central Park, or at a bar. Therefore, I’ve started embracing what Theodora has now started calling, “Fun Ashley.”

Therefore, drinks at Names and Places with Theodora, Bo, and Mike evolved into multiple rounds of drinks, a fur filled dance party, a wardrobe change, some karaoke fun at Sing Sing, and finally dancing to the oldies in the backroom of a neighborhood bar.

imageWhat can I say? Sometimes you won’t be able to check off everything on your to do list and sometimes there are bigger priorities, like enjoying life and being spontaneous.

I even made it to my 11am training session thanks to the assistance of this breakfast of champions.

I just commented on Theodora’s post- it sounds like you ladies had quite a fun night! Bagels are my go-to “morning after” food. The carbs always make me feel way better!

sorry i missed it. After the game, I was exhausted from being in the cold so long, and dressed in all yankees clothes, probs not appropriate for sing sing. Hope to see fun ashley soon!
