Day 1 in Geneva

Good evening from Geneva!

It’s only 9:30pm and we’re in bed, thoroughly exhausted from the past 24 hours! We only slept 4 or so hours on the flight so it makes sense.

Unfortunately we don’t have Internet or a phone working yet so this weekend will be filled with phone blogs via WordPress!

Once we landed this morning at 9:15 we grabbed a taxi cab for our new flat. Luckily all 8 bags arrived and were able to fit in the taxi!

The rest of the day was spent with the temporary furniture movers, running errands for basics like detergent, paper towels, olive oil, etc! We were also able to squeeze in a delicious, healthy lunch outside in the Geneva sunshine in between errands! Add to that the fact that we cooked dinner in our new kitchen tonight and I’d say it was a pretty successful day!

That is some pretty efficient international moving right there! NYC moving days include boxes everywhere and MAYBE a pizza. MAYBE.

The fact that Y’all cooked deserves some major kudos right there! I don’t even know if I have it in me to cook and I only went to work, less than 2 miles from my home. Looking forward to hearing all about your #genevaadventures
