My Favorite Summer Text Book

Summer school is in session class! It’s time to score an easy, fun A in our class Summer: NYC Style. Last year the coveted Vanity Fair All Access Summer Guide was my reference for all things food, bar, entertainment, and summer activity related. It introduced Bo and I to some of our favorite outdoor dining spots, bars, and summer activities.

Each year it is created by the witty and down to Earth, Jessica Latham, VF’s special events manager for the advertising portion. She doesn’t fail with this year’s edition which highlights some new places as well as the classics. I’ve noted a few of my favorites below:

Harry’s LIC at Water Taxi Beach

Dos Caminos Meatpacking

Bar Pitti

Aurora

The Standard Biergarten

The Frying Pan

230 Fifth

Bryant Park Good Morning America Concert Series

Museum Mile Festival

P.S. 1 Warm Up

I’d love to hear what some of your favorites are that Vanity Fair highlighted in this year’s edition. Summer sunshine, fresh air, and a summer drink in my hand? Yes please!

It was so nice to meet you! I'm sure you're overwhelmed being back at work today but it's all worth it. 🙂

My family lives near DC so I'm a BoltBus frequenter for sure! I HATE the traffic it runs into though — no matter what, it's always there!

Sounds like you guys had a fabulous weekend!!! 🙂

So glad you had a great weekend! Sorry it didn't work out for us to bump into one another– we'll make it work someday!
