Great post! It was nice to read this first thing today, because now I’ll spend my day thinking of my own happy things! Also, your wedding photos are stunning. Love your dress! Good luck with your 20-miler tomorrow!

I’m glad it helped start your day on the right foot!
Gah I’m having the same issue with my 17 miler this weekend. BF’s twin friends birthday bash is tonight. It’s going to be nuts. My 17 miler is planned for Saturday. I’m trying to let myself have fun tonight and then if I have to push my 17 back to Sunday…I’m so worried I’ll end up skipping it if I do that though.

I hope you kicked your 17 miler!! I’m sure you rocked it!
1. I really enjoy blog! Especially since you work full time and find the time to blog. I sometimes can’t relate to other bloggers who blog as their job because that is just not the world I live in and I’ll admit sometimes I get a little jeleous!
2. I’m not sure if in the picture of Bo dancing if he is dancing with his mother but wow! She’s got some nice muscles!

It is really all about time management. I think I’ll do a post next week about how I manage my time and what a normal day is like. Sound interesting?
Great blog! You are always an inspiration. Whenever you post you give me the motivation to blog. Life is short and it is worth taking the time to enjoy all the small things!
My husband and I live in Japan right now, a long way from home in Kentucky. Skype is our lifesaver. We can see our friends and family, which makes it much easier to not be so close.
Also, I totally understand the “new wife” stress thing. We’ve almost been married for a year and a half and I still worry at times. It’s silly.

I think Skype is a great idea!! I’ve never used it beore. Is it free?
Ashley – great post. Just what I needed on a day like today. Way to keep everything in perspective, life just moves so fast!
Amy
🙂 Thanks babe! Yes, things always need perspective. Sometimes it means slowing down and breathing.

1. Just thinking about NYC, even though I don’t live there any more, makes me happy. 2. Pumpkin! 3. Marriage; it’s a good thing to be happy about 😉
Pumpkins definitely make me happy too!! In fact, tomorrow after my 20 miler I’m baking pumpkin bread to celebrate!
You are right, marriage is a great thing to be happy about these days! In addition, I’m celebrating tomorrow’s 20 miler by baking something pumpkin!
